Title: The reasons of the early career termination of high-performance tennis players. Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis was to find out and analyze the causes or reasons leading to the involution in women's performance tennis, especially to their early career termination, while their goal was to reach the top level. Method: In this diploma thesis, I used a qualitative type of research. Chosen was a case study variant. Information was collected through semi-structured interview and document data analysis. Results: The survey results prove that there is not one main reason for the early termination of the career of high-performance female tennis players, but several voluntary and involuntary combinations of reasons that led to the termination of the career. Female players end their careers early mainly because of not reaching the required level and the related voluntary focus on studies and future profession. These reasons are a combination of long-term sporting failure (psychological reason) and free choice to leave (personal reason). Other reasons for premature termination are physiological problems, most often injury or illness, which forced female players to stop active activity. Key words: Sports career, reasons for termination sports career, early termination

KRCHO, Josef
Combining a hockey career and education is very challenging. Following this fact, the author tries to describe the phenomenon, which is the relationship between the sports career and the education of pupils, both from the point of view of teachers and from the point of view of coaches, using a grounded theory. The results of the first part indicate that parents, authorities and the rules set by them, the personality of the individual, the current age category, individual interviews within the club and the environment are important factors that interact with each other and influence this relationship. In part of the research investigation, the author of the second communication between the school and the club, and how this communication establishes rules. The results refer to the club's mediator, to closer contact between the coach and class teacher, to a modified school schedule and non-compliance with the rules. How a student perceives the relationship between education and a hockey career is primarily conditioned by the environment in which the relationship is formed. Parents, teachers and coaches are the most influential in this environment. Communication between the school and the club and compliance with their set rules has a significant influence on the education and hockey practice of pupils/hockey players.

SOUČKOVÁ, Celestýna
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether there is a direct influence of early specialization and early start of activities on the further course of the career and to compare it with the concept of general training. The research method is an electronic questionnaire of our own design, which is part of a quantitative survey. The questionnaire has 25 questions that have both closed and open answers. The research group consists of 37 respondents who practice cycling or have performed at the performance level in the elite category. Based on the answers from the questionnaire, graphs and evaluation of the results were created, which are presented in the practical part of the work. The main results include the following: It has been shown that individuals who started cycling within the age of 8 have achieved significantly more significant success in the youth categories than other age groups. Individuals belonging to the first group (up to 8 years of age) were most affected by health problems, which means that starting a cycling career at an early age has a more negative impact on the health of individuals than the later beginning of a sports career. In comparison with the average training units, the first age group (up to 8 years) had on average more cycling trainings than the second, but also other sports activities significantly exceeded in individuals who started up to 8 years. It has also been shown that individuals who started cycling at an earlier age end their careers for health reasons more often than those who start later. This research has shown the pros and cons of early specialization and its impact on an individual's career.
